General Objectives – 

The students will be able to –

·       ·  Build their vocabulary and writing skills through drafting, revising, and editing.

·        · Through interacting with others in the class, students will also learn how to work within a team.

Day 1 I’ll begin my class with          Discussion on the difference between article and essay            Negotiating the difference between article and essay I’ll distribute the handouts – Man and Environment. After that, I’ll ask them to read it. After that, I’ll negotiate the format of article writing. Then I’ll give the worksheets to the students. After that, I’ll negotiate the worksheets with the learners. Homework – Write an article on “Man and Nature”.
Day 2 I’ll begin my class with ·         Discussion on the importance of  girl’s education  I’ll show a video- First Lady Michelle Obama on the importance of girls’ education After that, I’ll negotiate the main points of the video with the learners.  Then I’ll give the worksheets to the students. After that, I’ll negotiate the worksheets with the learners. Homework – Write an article on “The importance of girl’s education”.
Day 3 I’ll begin my class with ·         Discussion on the importance of  trees    I’ll show a video- How to Create Natural Forest | Afforestation of Urban Areas with Natural Species and its Importance by Environment and climate change Kerla   After that, I’ll negotiate the main points of the video with the learners.  Then I’ll give the worksheets to the students. After that, I’ll negotiate the worksheets with the learners. Homework –  You are Nidhi/Nitin, a member of “Environment Club” of your school. Write an article on “Need of Afforestation” in the present-day world. Day 4 I’ll begin my class with ·         Discussion on the role of youth in cleanliness programme I’ll show a video- Skit on Cleanliness by Students of NISAA Teacher Training   After that, I’ll negotiate the main points of the video with the learners. I’ll write the points on the black board.   Then I’ll give the worksheets to the students. After that, I’ll negotiate the worksheets with the learners. Homework –
